Timeline

Six decades, mostly quiet ones.

From a two-truck residential glass shop to a full-service glazier serving the tri-state's homes, businesses, and institutions.

1961

A glass shop opens in Dubuque

Founded on Cedar Cross Road. Two trucks, one templating table, and a handshake agreement with half the GCs in the tri-state.

1974

Aluminum entrance systems added

We stop being "just a residential glass shop" and start glazing commercial storefronts across Dubuque's downtown revitalization.

1998

Greenfield Custom Fab is launched

Our specialty division for the pieces the national suppliers won't cut. Tabletops, signage, stairwell panels, and the one-offs that keep things interesting.

2010

Heavy-glass shower program expands

Frameless 3/8″ enclosures become a standing appointment in half the new residential builds we touch.

2020

Transparent guards, on short notice

Overnight, every medical, financial, and retail counter in the tri-state needed a barrier. We cut, polished, and installed a few thousand of them.

2026

Sixty-three years and still templating

Same address. Same phone number. Same handshake. Now with a third generation on the crew.
